    Exactly what it looks like

    I purchased this set to accompany one that came with my ratchet driver (it actually replaces it since it had the same SAE setup). These are great for the garage in a pinch when you don't want to haul out the socket sets. These are quite good for their purpose: any small nut that you can get loose by hand will work for these.I would imagine they'd strip out quickly (or strip the nut head) applying hard or sudden torque, but that's clearly not what they're meant for.If you look at the picture, you can see that these hex bits aren't standard (longer) length, as they're intended for use in a magnetized ratchet driver (or power drill, assuming you have the torque below 'drill').As another reviewer (angrily) pointed out, these aren't meant for impact wrenches or fast change bits. 5/5 Brennen, TEKTON Tools Customer Representative, April 26, 2010

    Useless

    Total waste of money! 1/4" Hex Shanks are suppose to have a groove in the stem to hold them in place. To short for my cordless drill and doesn't hold in my cordless screwdriver.     Look no further for a power bit holder!

    As Bruce in the other review said, look no further for a bit holder. I too, have been looking for the ideal power bit holder (the longer bits, not the short insert bits). I do believe that this can hold insert bits as well. The requirements for an ideal bit holder for me was 1) small form factor (at most 1.5" of protrusion and not fat), 2) built in magnet, 3) locks bits securely, and 4) tight tolerances (less slop in bit movement), 5) free spinning outer sleeve, 6) one handed bit changes (pull on the sleeve and out comes the bit) and easy insertion of bits. Is there another bit holder out there that fits this description? Believe me, if there was, I would have bought it, especially if it was available on amazon. So far I have 5 bit holders and that's not counting the regular, non-locking, magnetic holders. If you count those I have about a dozen.The price isn't too bad either.     Best Bit Holder I've Found...And I've Looked!!

    Love this bit holder. I did a lot of searching before I found it. Small dimensions all around. One handed bit changes (even with gloves) are easy.     This is one of the best designed nut driver sets I have ever owned. It is compact, yet has all of the sizes of nut drivers that you need for general applications. The handle fits well in my hand and the ratcheting function is a big plus. The lengths of the stems allow for sufficient reach, especially for recessed screws on some appliances. One suggestion - it would be helpful to have magnetic inserts for holding the screws while installing or removing them. This is a personal preference of someone who frequently "drops" them down behind a appliance, etc. (and of course I don't have my handy magnetic pick up tool in my pocket). Just a thought.     Surprised by this drill

    I was very surprised by the performance of this lightweight drill. I historically buy high-end cordless drills, but when my Makita 12V batteries wouldn't hold a charge, I decided to buy something less expensive. I've only owned this for 3 months and it hasn't let me down. I almost always use a quick-change driver in the chuck so I've never seen the chuck slip (as another reviewer mentioned). I wish a carrying case and/or extra battery was included but I'll survive without it. My only gripe is that the trigger is somewhat sensitive and it's difficult to maintain a constant slow speed (i.e. driving small screws). Great torque at high speed, though. You could buy 2 or 3 of these for the price of a high-end drill.     Slipping drill chuck

    This is a light weight drill motor, really for the home user. Works great with hex type drills and bits. Forget about using this drill with standard drill bits, the chuck slips easily, no matter how hard the chuck is tightened (even with tools). B&D did a terrible job with this chuck design. I'm not retooling my shop to accommodate this drill motor. So, a screw driver it will be(never a drill). Maybe I'll take the chuck off and replace it with a Jacobs chuck, they work! 1/5 R.     This drill is not for heavy drilling, the chuck does not grab well and bits tend to spin, but it is very convenient and light!
