Very pleased
This app is very easy to use and is exactly what I wanted. I can put a song onto my phone, or I can record a sound, and then it displays the entire song in a sound wave image. You tap the image and set the beginning and end of the slice you want, and you can preview it as many times as you want to be sure you are getting it right. You can tap anywhere in the song and it will start playing from there - so you don't have to listen from the beginning each time if you are trying to edit the end. Then you save it and voila - it is ready to use. In minutes I had a new ringtone and a new alarm. I'm very pleased with it. The only (tiny) downside is it does have ads at the bottom. Not bad

What is there to say, it works!
I've never written a review on a 6-second sound bite before...but here goes...I have, of course, read the Hunger Games trilogy, so I was interested to hear what the whistle sounded like that the movie-makers came up with.I found the whistle to be haunting and appropriate for the tone of the story. It's ethereal.On the other hand, I would probably have awarded 5 stars if it had actually been a real whistle.Check it out! Spam software
This is a spam software. It's good for the people that Amazon carries this, so that they can read the reviews before they fall in the same trick. However, Amazon will get sued one day or another because of selling spam. The software itself is cheap, but all the cost to have a professional come out and fix customer's computer is not. Be aware!When it installs the 'ringtone maker', it also installs its 'MAGIX manager' secretly. There's no easy to to quit from the 'manager'. You can't uninstall from the control panel either, because it stays in the system all the time. When you close the 'Magix manger' windows, it pops up another window, which does not even have a 'close' or 'quit' button.1 Star is the lowest possible here, I wish I could do negative. How does this company stay in business?
Look to their other products for more BAD reviews. Their customer support (NO PHONE # just e-mail or write them) to even "unlock" the features. It locks up my computer 90% of the time and they never respond. I need the MP3 unlocked to be able to send it to my phone, but they never send the activation code. Useless!! In case you are wondering if I am just some dolt that just learned how to turn on my computer -I am A+ and Network+ Certified. I know what I am doing and this and the rest of their product line is JUNK. Warning before buying this product

does not work as advertised
Xingtone 5 is advertised as being compatible with a Nokia 6030 phone. After buying the product I discovered it is not compatible with the phone. Roxio admits there is a problem but continues to advertise it as compatible. Useless
Roxio pretends that the created ringtones can be used with an LG VX8100, but Verizon offers no way to use sounds as ringtones, and Roxio's directions to the phone don't correspond to the software options on the phone. After wasting a couple of hours in futility with this software (which often crashes on a Mac), I found myself mumbling "iPhone... iPhone... iPhone". 1/5 Nicolas S. This program is a simple Wav Editor. No way to save your final results. Only available option is to send to their website and then download to your phone. I wonder how many other people share your ringtones. I did not find it to be compatible with my Motorola RAZR nor with T-Mobile as advertised. Highly Recommend!
I have had this program for about a year now. This is my second copy (cant find my first one). I LOVE this program and so does my daughter! It works just like it says it does!! I havent bought a ringtone or graphic since I first got it. You can take any song or picture and make a ringtone or graphic out of it! I have made graphics for my phone from all kinds of pictures on the web. It is a really cool program! Very easy to use, instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Support at the website is a bit hard to navigate but its very rare that you need it. I first got it to use with my razr V3 and now my daughter and I use it for my Blackjack 2 and her Tilt. It says to make a ringtone no longer than 15 to 20 seconds, we have pushed it to 35 seconds. I would recommend this to anyone who changes ringtones and graphics on their phones like my daughter and I do. ok but......
found this software and thought why not? it works well with my t-mobile razr. i like that i can send longer rings of songs to my phone and can make backgrounds out of pretty much any pic i can find online. but i had to register my phone number so i could only send stuff to my phone. if i wanted to send sounds or pics to others i had to forward the file to them. also, once installed it only lasts a year, i tried to get a new ringtone today and it said i needed to buy the new edition of the software. overall decent, but certainly not unlimited. 3/5 M.
