  This is Easy!

  I have Dreamweaver, Go Live, and Front Page so why am I bothering with this fifty-dollar program? Because it works without the frustration that accompany the others.I'm not a professional designer, just a small business owner who's been needing to re-do my website for some time now and have been dreading it. My wife and I built it with Front Page which is the easiest to learn of the big three but it's still a struggle to use at times.Web Easy is far easier than Front Page but not over simplified to the point that the features you want are stripped away. Everything I need is there and easy to find and figure out.I downloaded the free version from V-Com's website lastnight, and was able to learn it mostly just by exploring.   Terrific Program

  I have NEVER had any experience at all with building a website and I don't know anything about software code, or programming. I bought Web Easy 6 because I wanted to try to build a personal website. At first I assumed I would have to spend days and days reading the software manual and then trying to figure out what the heck it was telling me to do. I installed the software and then, much to my great surprise (and delight), I found that it was EXTREMELY EASY to figure out. Within just a few hours I had built my first complete page! The software is LOADED with a variety of very impressive features. And, yes, it will take me time to read through the material and learn about them. But, I have to tell you, I think "Web Easy 6" is a TERRIFIC PROGRAM for creating a very slick-looking, professional website. I will note that if you buy it and install Web Easy 6, you might as well be prepared to call customer service (not toll free) to get the "Unlock Code" the software requires. The... 5/5 T. J.   Not bad at all...

  Ok - yes, its not very intuitive on a lot of things but as far as designs - its great! If you have the patience to learn the software and just not expect it to spoonfeed everything to you its quite powerful actually and I love the fact that it organizes everything for me. My opinion, its definitely a step above Frontpage.   533 pages of horrible PHP and 31 pages of index

  I picked this book up at my local library since it was the first PHP 6 book they carried. I have to say, I completely agree with Michael Diamond's review. This book is why PHP code and PHP coders have a bad name. I would absolutely not hire someone who wrote any code like the examples in the book. The book is full of examples of how to make completely broken, utterly insecure and just downright awful PHP scripts. Throughout the book, examples take user input directly from $_POST or other user provided variables and either call functions provided in the variable, use the variable directly in SQL.If the code could throw a warning, it is often preceded with an @ sign, which in PHP just suppresses the warning.   This Book Is The Reason PHP Programmers Have A Bad Name

  This book tries to teach PHP with an illogical ordering, piss poor documentation, no regard to security or standards (it's being published as a book for PHP 6, but still uses HTML from the 1990's).Most notable to me, however, was the god aweful piece of code found in one of the introductory chapters which, if ever put on a live server, would open up the server to any number of exploits, including access to the system() function. Here is an excerpt:echo $result = $_POST['func']($_POST['text1']);Yes, that's right, output the result of a function call the client provides, applied to a parameter the client provides. Absolutely ridiculous.Now, I haven't read much further than this example (p 110), but even if somewhere later on the authors take the time to discuss security, the fact that they separate the two all but guarentees that the message is not getting across.   Pro: The text is written in a simple, straightforward style, and contains some good informationCon: Ridiculously small graphics depicting code (hint: just use listings); sample code from publisher's site is broken (perhaps I missed the part about having to debug the authors' examples); broken examples in the text; PHP6 is not stable as of publication of the book but we're set to a hack install thereof, and it appears the instructions on that little endeavor are broken too ("put that .dll in one of those folders you Windows people use").Suggestion: Try the w3schools site. It's simple yet comprehensive, it's free, and they test their code.   Reluctantly Switched From Bluetooth

  I was very resistant to buy this mouse because I have only bought Bluetooth mice since 2002. But mouse manufacturers are clueless to our needs and so I was forced to switch.And man am I glad I did.This mouse is worth it to overlook the ultra-tiny receiver. It is oh so smooth and uncommonly comfortable. I bought the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 8000 about three weeks ago and my forearm and hand have been aching ever since. It was the first non-ergonomic mouse, designed to be symmetrical for both right and left handed users, that I have used in many years and using it was downright painful. I also have the inappropriately named Apple Mighty Mouse which suffers from the same design flaw. The Performance MX, by comparison, puts very little strain on my hand and arm, and the groove where my thumb sits not only feels terrific, it also provides greater control.   Significant downgrade from prior flagship, MX Revolution

  This is a great mouse for anyone who hasn't used Logitech's prior flagship mouse, the . This is its replacement, offered at the same price as the now-discontinued revolution. Unfortunately, while there are some nice enhancements, it's an overall downgrade, disappointing many users of the MX Revolution, myself included (there were over 100 complaints on Logitech's announcement blog before they locked the post down, disallowing further comment).First, the good:- The new sensor allows you to use the mouse on any surface, including glass.   I have a blog (pinkpeppers) and named it because I figured a color with a vegetable would be easy to remember. Tris Hussey starts his book talking about naming your blog, what to do- something memorable, what not to do- when run together does the name become something unfortunate.My blog was created by someone else and I often wish I knew how to add a click on box, add the wall paper, basically how to change it in any fashion without bothering my site manager.Here's help! This book has an entire section on "Tweaking Your Blogs Setup" Perfect!The first three chapters will help you install and start your blog.   I had suspicions the quality would be poor and grainy, but I was very pleased once I got it plugged in and running.The quality is very good, and it has all kinds of neat features. You can set it to detect and record motion with or without the green light on for up to fifteen minutes. It has a follow face option which will track your motion to ensure the other person sees you even if you get up and move around, which can be set on and off. Right light ensures great quality even in darker rooms. My only complaint is that the adjustable tabs to keep it atop the screen are a little goofy.   I bought this webcam after struggling for months on what model to purchase. Very pleasently surprised! Not only was this one of the cheaper models in cost, but it was super easy to install and worked excellently right out of the box.   Dry as a bone tent camping!

  I've camped for many years, first as a Girl Scout and then as an adult. My husband had never camped, let alone in a tent. I took him out in this tent to a National Forest campground in the Shenendoah mountains, and it rained steady for a week. This tent saved the vacation. The middle room served as our dining and rec center, providing ample space for our small camp table where we ate and played cards. The screened porch was a perfect vestibule, and on sunny days it's a great place to relax, nap, read and escape from the bugs. The sleeping room is perfect for two adults and a queen-sized air bed. The middle room will comfortably sleep an entire family, or serve as the "living room", gear room, work room, etc. It has a high ceiling with a loop for hanging a light. The over-cover and Coleman construction make this the driest tent I've ever experienced. After a week of steady rain, not one seep, weep or drip. 5/5 A.   Great tent, but a little drafty

  This tent is wonderful, extremely spacious and has great new advancements in tent technology. I loved how open the tent felt. Bravo to Coleman for inventing the hinged tent door...it makes the tent really feel like a miniature cabin with a REAL door. After we received the tent I asked the hubby if we should try to set it up indoors prior to our next camping trip. He responded with a negative, that we could just figure it out there since the instructions are sewn into the tent duffel bag.After arriving to our camp site we struggled to get the tent up. Tempers flared and we had to call in one back-up person to help us. The instructions sewn into the bag are not very easy to read, and the diagrams are pretty much useless. We had to "figure it out" as my husband had said. Something to know when you're going to set this tent up for the first time is that it really does matter which of the thicker, steel poles go where. I have had a chance to work with it and it is very easy to use, especially if you have any experience with other software programs, such as publishing or photography software. The documentation is also very helpful. There were a few things I couldn't figure out, but I was able to find the information in the help section. The number of templates is somewhat limited. None of them fit my needs, but it is very easy to customize them. I was able to create a site that doesn't look anything like the templates.I haven't used any other web development software, so I can't compare.   I've used Linksys home routers for more than a decade and this is by far the best one yet in every respect. I didn't bother with their fancy new guided configuration software as I'm an experienced user.   Extremely Pleased and Set Up with Ease!

  As a certified 'senior' who's never dealt with a router before, I had absolutely no trouble setting up and getting connected. My 6 year old desktop is not wireless. My goal was to get a new laptop up and running via the router. By simply inserting the CD, I followed the instructions with no difficulty at all. I used a Memory Stick with data already stored on it, to then connect to my laptop. In less than 15 minutes both computers were up and running. The laptop is much faster than my desktop so I'm thrilled with that!   Purchased this at Radio Shack for 20 dollars and could not be happier. I since have purchased a Jawbone 2 just because of all the hype. I am now back wearing my Samsung. The clarity and ease of use outshines my Jawbone and it is a lot more comfortable. I really could not tell an improvement over my Samsung and to be honest, the call quality was not as good!
