    Zone Alarm Internet Seucrity Suit

I had a virus on one of my computers. I had to pay $50 to get on line help. I was e-mailed a document of how to fix the problem. The first thing I had to do was to down load a 3rd party product to fix the problem. Then I was to go to Microsoft and install their firewall and Internet security package instead of Zone Alarms. 2/5 Clifford E. Brockway (North Haven Ct) - See all my reviews, October 17, 2011

It does exactly what it says it'll do; great firewall, as intrusive or laid back as you want it to be; antivirus catches many things and protects email; antiphishing can set up through the browser to provide instant protection.Good stuff. 5/5 G. Good product to begin with

This item does exactly what it says it will do, which is good and bad. It is a good product to begin with but I can see, after the first usage, that the meters with a needle and scale will give more accurate readings. This particular procduct just lets you know if you are cold-warm-hot. If you are going to buy an EMF meter, spend a little extra and get the type with a scale instead. 4/5 Patricia A. EXCELLENT ELF METER

THERE ARE 3 LIGHTS. RED FOR DANGER, GREEN FOR SAFE, AND YELLOW FOR CAUTION. LIGHTWEIGHT AND PORTABLE. WORKS ON 9 VOLT BATTER THAT LASTS A LONG TIME. I CAN CHECK MY CELL PHONE, COMPUTER FOR EMF READINGS, WHICH MAKE SENSE. IF YOU GET TO CLOSE FOR A TV FOR INSTANCE, OR A ALARM CLOCK, GREEN, YELLOW AND RED SHOW UP. SAFE: 0-2 MILLI GAUSS, CAUTION: 2.5-7 MILLI GAUSS AND DANGER: 8 MILLI GAUSS OR HIGHER. EVEN THE ELECTRIC CABLES FOR MY COMPUTER HAVE ALL COULORS SHOW UP. IT'S GOOD TO KNOW HOW FAR TO KEEP AWAY FROM THE TV AND OTHER ITEMS FOR SAFETY. THE COMPUTER SHOWS UP SAFE TO CAUTION WHEN USED. WHEN CPU IS OFF, ONLY GREEN SHOWS UP, WHICH IS SAFE. Accuracy of readings (?)

I did receive the elf gaussmeter very quickly but I question the accuracy of the readings--when I move it away from the laptop it blinks red in the danger zone and I doubt it's sensing spectral emanations...I guess I shouldn't expect precision readings for the price but I don't find this product is especially useful and will probably return it or give it away. 2/5 eb2k5 - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Best Alarm Clock we Ever Owned - Called a Dream Machine and it really is!

When our old alarm went out I had to find a new alarm quickly. When I found the Sony ICF-C318, I was just happy to discover it had no external antennae to deal with. What a bonus to find that not only was it small and inexpensive, but had no funky extra wires. It has two alarms & the time and date are automatically set! All I did is plug it in. The date was automatically correct. And if there's a power surge or power outage, it has a battery back-up (battery is included and already installed) and it loses no time. We didn't believe that, of course, and had to play with it by unplugging it a few times to test it, but it worked great! We didn't even have to re-set the time zone. Also, I usually had to re-set the alarm for my husband, but no longer. I set the A alarm for me and the B alarm for him and we are done. What I also found wonderful about this alarm was that when you set the alarm time, you can go backward or forward. Our old alarm could only go forward and it took... 5/5 K. Easy, accurate, but politely quiet

I bought two of these, (one for my husband and one for my teenage son), since they would automatically reset themselves after a power outage. They both immediately complained that the alarms were not loud enough, (both are VERY heavy sleepers). It does have a very light and polite beep with no volume control. However, the beeps gradually increase in frequency and after week of use, both of them are waking up easily to the sound and without the jarring blasts from our old alarms. So, it may require getting accustomed to for heavy sleepers, but it's great for those of us who don't like to be blasted awake every day. 4/5 K. Perfect Security System Addition at a Great Price

Let me start by acknowledging Amazon for providing such a deal on the sensor. The manufacturer sells this sensor at $90. I was able to add three additional sensors (radar, tilt, glass) to my system for the price of one.I added this to my Python 872 security system. After 20 minutes of testing the sensitivity levels, I set it up just as I wanted: I have it so it will warn when standing right next to the vehicle, and it will only arm if someone enters the car (I had the window rolled down while testing for the full alarm trigger). Adds a much welcomed ability to my Security/Remote Start System. Bam. 5/5 Bgon (Southern California) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) it works but hard to find sensitivity medium

it definitely works. dont get me wrong, but im still trying to find the medium where it just chirps when u walk by or up to the vehicle, & goes off if bumped. its set now to go off when bumped somewhat hard, & chirp if just pushed. its weird because its either too much or too little. the turning mechanisms are not that wide so you have to try again & again to find the sensitivity you want. or be blessed enough to find an alarm tech to install it & set the sensitivity perfect the first time... but it does the job!! 5/5 D. Bulky; incorrect description

I opened this alarm/flashlight today and am returning it immediately. Advertised as requiring 2 AAA batteries, it turns out that it actually requires 3 additional, tiny mercury cells in order to operate the flashlight. These are supplied, but are of such poor quality that one of them had already exploded, vomiting its mercurous payload into the device's battery compartment. Even if they had been functional, the idea of having a travel flashlight depend on hard-to-find and expensive micro cells is ridiculous. In addition it's larger than expected; a measurement on the page advertising it would have been useful. Now I'll have to find something functional and get it next-dayed in order to receive it in time. Great Gadget for the car

Bought this to try in my car in place of the clock that died. It fits perfectly in the little space I have where dvds normally are kept. I used a bit of velcro to help keep in place and it works perfectly, I can hit the light button, get the time and it goes off. The flash light works great and I will always have one with me when needed. Great Purchase, came quickly and in great condition. 5/5 Deborah Couture "Bonksmom" - See all my reviews, October 25, 2011

    Perfect travel alarm clock

I bought this to replace one I already had. That one went bad because I stored the batteries in it by reversing one of them so it wouldn't turn on. Afterwards I researched on the internet that reversing the battery polarity can cause damage. Oh well, live and learn. But this clock packs so easily. And because it's easy to remove the batteries versus the type that has watch batteries, you don't have to worry about it possibly making noises in your luggage. And the price is right! 5/5 D. For the punctual minded

Most of my life I've had early shifts for my occupation (i.e. being into work at 6:00 am or earlier). I used to have a clock that didn't have a battery backup nor did it keep the correct time. I saw this model clock that had both plus the time projection on the ceiling so my wife didn't have to try to roll me over to see the clock, so I decided to give it a try. The clock looks a bit futuristic, but that is its function. The exact time feature is great. I set the houses clocks to it whenever the power goes out, which is regularly (where in a rural town). The battery backup is another great feature that I've never had prior to this. The only drawbacks that I have with the clock is that in order to project the time on the ceiling so that you can read it on a decent angle, is to turn the clock so that you can't the time on its face. You either get to see the one on the ceiling or you get the face of the clock, not both. Another drawback is the buttons on the clock don't make... 4/5 superbzmom (Rockford, IL United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: Oregon Scientific RM313PNA Self-Setting Projection Alarm Clock with Indoor Thermometer, Blue (Kitchen) I've had four of these clocks so far and only two have survived. Great product at a great price

I was very surprised to see such a nice product at such a nice price. The automatic synchronization, and the projection are features you can't find in any other clocks at this price. My main gripes are:* You can't change the orientation of the projection. I'd like to have the clock facing me when I look at it from bed, but if the clock is facing you, the projection will be side-ways.* As someone else mentioned, if you change the time manually, the clock will not synchronize. This is very frustrating because the clock will not initially be set, and you have to wait up to 72 hours for it to synchronize. Your clock is totally useless during this time. If you manually set it, you will have to reset it for it to synchronize. This is not well documented in the manual. I found this process to be frustrating, but now that it's set up, it works well.Even with these two shortcomings, I give it 4 starts because it's a nice product for a nice price. 4/5 0, November 3, 2001

    finally retired my type-V

Ordered directly from verizon the first day it was available. Previous phone was gz'one type V.Pretty happy with it so far. Two issues - phone will not charge from a PC USB port if it is off (tried quite a few different models, all Dell, desktops and laptops). I brought it to the local Verizon store and they confirmed that issue. If they get some in and they don't have that problem, I will be exchanging. Not only does it not charge, but it constantly cycles through a boot screen, which actually drains the battery. Also, built in camera app will not turn on the flash. Installed a camera app from the app store and flash works fine.LED seems marginally less powerful than on type-V.I think the micro usb port might eventually be a weak spot, ie the plug can wiggle around too easy and will eventually break it.
