  Ashe Gordon and Ross Murdock, angry following the loss of their fellow agent and friend, Travis Fox on the planet Topaz, are on the planet Hawaikan, a warm planet that is mostly ocean, intent on setting up a time gate. The world is so different from what they expected after viewing the information from the alien ship that brought them to the planet, that they have decided to do a risky experiment and travel into the past of the planet.   Good collection, but stories out of order

  I was pretty far into the first book before it became clear that it was not the first in its series. I checked online and found this collection pulls from three different series (and some stand alone works). Most of the series works are out or order.If you want to follow the correct order, try this:Ross Murdock/Time War Series: The Time Traders (1st in series) The Defiant Agents (3rd) Key out of Time (4th) (series is 7 books long)Solar Queen Series: Plague Ship (2nd) Voodoo Planet (3rd) (series is 7 books long)Drew Rennie Series: Ride Proud Rebel (1st) Rebel Spurs (2nd)The other books are either the only entry from their series, or are stand alone works. 4/5 P.   The "editor" of this collection is an incompetent scumbag who respects neither the author nor her readers and has almost certainly not read any of these books. The books are presented in alphabetical order, even though several are part of a series! The series are incomplete! Genres are mixed! And all of these books are in the public domain ... that's why they're "only" 99 cents! Please don't be a sucker or reward thieves ... do not buy this!   Word candy for an old fan

  I got this collection, started reading the first book, and finished the whole thing. At first I was annoyed with some formatting issues, and I wish they had put the books in a better order, but for 99 cents -- this was the best deal I've had in reading in a long time. I had not read any of these books before (and I've read a fair amount of her works, but I guess from a later period). They were all just delightful. This is leisure reading at its best. I cannot say I am improved by having finished them all, but God bless the good storyteller.   I am upset

  I bought this kindle book because "The Time Traders" was the first sic-fi book I ever read 46 years ago, and with this being the "Time Trader Omnibus" I incorrectly assumed this would have the entire series.Well it doesn't!This book collection lacks Galactic Derelict, and the books in the series written later by another author I'm assuming he picked up the series after Ms. Norton's death.If you want the first four books in the series Barnes And Noble has a complete omnibus of the first four books that I just bought.Apple IBooks app has access to most of them, and [...] has "Galactic Detelict" and most if not all of the series. 1/5 W.   Do not waste your Money

  I am so angry at Kindle and the releases they come up with for some of the groupings they have.To start with. If you would like to grab one of the old old old copies of the Time Trade Works you will find that the first Omnibus Had the two Books Time Traders and Galactic Derelict Now when You look at Amazon they do not wish to allow any of us to receive the version that has Galactic Derelict in it. Why they are doing this I have no clue. I am sorry but you can get copies of Said Galactic Derelict in PDF format for free so what is the big deal. I have tried several times by buying different version to get a native kindle version of GD with the other 6 volumes as well.I love the works of Norton. She was fantastic. I actually talked to her in person. Even though she died before her time she did great work. I just wish more ladies would go for writing SCI FI. I think I scanned Doka's article but it isn't much different than what he has said in person or in other books.   Norton woke-up in 2009/10 making the interface user-friendly and its signature updates running in the background making the software less resource-hogging. It's continuing the same trend this year (NIS2012) with a little less cluttered interface - meaning most features automated for the novice user, but you have to dig in deep to make advanced changes. It works well with Windows7 as well as Win XP if you care (I don't have Vista - so cannot comment about that).1. Installation: As in the recent versions of NIS, installation was a snap. It took under 2 minutes, but needed a restart. If you have existing license for NIS, download the update from support -> check for new version menu item from within NIS. You can update the license number from the disk later when your license is about to expire. In previous version(s), NIS overwrote existing license period if you upgraded from disk.   NIS 2011 Was Better

  I bought this because the 1 year sub was up on 2011 and I was able to get 2012 for cheaper than sub for another year for the 2011 version.Install was easy but I don't see much of a difference in what 2012 offers than what 2011 had. There are a few things I don't like about 2012:1. It scans my system a lot slower.2. No option to totally turn off autoupdate like you could in 2011. Can turn off auto but pulse updates turn on then and gets greyed out so there is no way to have them both be off at the same time. I like to update it manually liked I did 2011 but can't now.3. No way to turn off quick scans like you could in 2011.4. Seems to load slower at start up when set to "aggresive" but 2011 started right away.5. When you click on settings or any of the options the software takes longer to respond. At first I didn't think I had clicked right and tried again but it took a few seconds to respond.   The product seems good and I've been using Norton products for multiple years. Make sure to buy the new product each year for around 40-50 dollars. Make sure to set your account to No Automatic Renewal. The online renewal and automatic renewal sells the same package for around 80 dollars. When confronted with the price difference, customer support says it's important to buy direct online from Symantec to avoid the pirated versions, or versions that only have one good activation key left.   Everything you need to care for your PC

  There protections of every kind you can think of and some they simply think of for you, with backup and optimize "defrag" and adjustments for every function. I would not want to run my PC without it. The only negative is they could make it cheaper, but when you take into account it installs on 3 PCs it weight out. everything you do is protected and backup can be turned off or set to any destination. It even can connect to the network if you want to get the latest protections before they officially come out for virtually any threat.   NORTON 360 V6

  Installation & First Impression:*****************************Installation of KIS 2012 was quite speedy. At the beginning of the installation process the program looked for any conflicting security programs that were already installed and to my surprise, it actually found remnants of Microsoft Security Essentials that I had previously uninstalled. After this was cleared up, it was a simple case of activating the product online and viola!, I was up and running. Albeit needing a definition update.Once KIS was up and running I downloaded the latest update, which took quite a while, and then gave it a quick scan. As this is the first 2012 malware product I've looked at thus far, it is difficult to be objective as to how Kaspersky's latest will compare with others that are released in the latter part of the year, but my initial impression is quite positive.   Super slow full scan takes the sparkle off an otherwise great product

  I received Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 from the Amazon Vine Reviewer Program. Because I received the 3-license version I installed it on two PC's: desktop running Vista 32-bit and a desktop running Windows 7 64-bit.I had planned on also installing it on an XP desktop as this software gives you one code to license 3 machines for 1 year, however that is being old and fussy upon this writing and may need to die a natural death, thus I may have to install Kaspersky on yet another Win 7 machine instead. I will update this review after the third install.**Note that this software works with 32 and 64-bit Windows OS's Vista, XP and 7, but doesn't support Mac.**The Positives:Installation on both machines was easy, but much quicker on the Windows 7 machine. Probably more about the OS than this software.
