  I am SO glad I found this book!

  I'm not a new Word user, but my office upgraded to Office 2003. I saw things on my screen that I didn't recognize. So, I ordered this book and got my answers. This Task Pane thing is a big change.   Creative writer.

  I purchased this book several years ago and after studying the information have found it to be well written in my opinion. If I do not understand some procedures it is largely because I have not had a formal class in Word. Sort of self taught. I think that it has a huge potential for desk top publishing and use it as much as I can in working on my various short narratives.   Just what I need to know

  I am mostly self trained in my computer skills. I have been taught the basics but any advanced knowledge is up to me. The "For Dummies" series has been very helpful to me in learning more computer skills. I have now developed documents that rival the ones that college educated/trained people are generating.   Word 2003 for Dummies / The Everyday Life Bible

  Pinson Logistics sent me the book I ordered, Word 2003 for Dummies, and they also added to the order, without my approval, The Everyday Life Bible. I did not notice this unauthorized addition of this book when I checked out and I was billed an extra $22.67. Is this your protocol to add things to the order in hopes that they will not be noticed?   Ok so I was really excited to get this game for my daughter. When I loaded it to my pc it asked for her date of birth, but it stopped in 2000. She was born in 2009.   Game is OK

  My son is 3 and loves to play on the computer, I thought this game would be good for him. Turns out he prefers a website he has been using to learn his ABC's and 123's. I was worth a shot I guess.   I got this for my 3 year old son and he loved it at first. The first few days he would sit there for an hour and "play" his game. After that he had quickly mastered all the activities and it got boring.   This was my sons first computer game. Its easy to use and understand also flexible work with the mouse. Very quickly he was able to play on his own. The game is on one hand challenging for my son yet he succeeds enough not to get frustrated. There's a wide variety of things to do and the different levels add new interest to any given game. I think you really get allot here for your investment. Educationally there's a little bit of everything.   This is my 3 yr old daughter's favorite CD game

  This is a really neat CD for kids. It is challenging, yet the game is very easy to navigate for kids. I can sit my daughter down, let her play, and not have to worry about her getting stuck because she cannot navigate. This is not some cheap game that is similar to the freebies online either. There are plenty of activities that really challenge my daughter. Plus, the activities get progressively harder. I have Blue's Clues, Stanley, Pooh, Mickey Mouse, Dinosaurs, and a few other games for her, but she likes this one best - even after some of the "newness" has worn off. 5/5 Jeffrey W.   My 3 1/2 Year Old LOVES this game!

  My son (3 1/2 ) loves this game. He can easily switch the level of difficulty depending on the activity and loves the payoff in the end. He is now interested in doing mazes and patten sequencing as a result of this program. It is cute, fun and right on target for the age group.   Instructive in form and content

  I was very impressed and happy with this book. Not only is the content of the book an excellent introduction to InDesign, the book itself is also wellspring of layout ideas. It gives you some perspective on what can be done with InDesign as the book itself is laid out with the tool.This is not a course book with questions at the end of each chapter. It's a introductory book that starts with the basics of creating documents, and finishes with the management of large documents, like books. Chapters include text layout, importing graphics, using transparency. The full spectrum of what's available to you in the application is described in full color with illustrative examples.This is an excellent book.   Deke to the rescue

  So this local guy who has seen some of my work approaches me and asks if I could do illustrations, photo's and layout for a jazz guitar instruction book. Now I don't know about you but if there is one thing I have learned in this business is that the answer is always "of course" to whatever I am asked to do.When PhotoShop went CS I bought the whole CS professional package. I knew that Indesign was there, but since I always used either PageMaker or Illustrator to do my layouts, InDesign was just a little too alien to me.Could I have done the book in PageMaker? Maybe, but figured it must be easier in InDesign considering that that is it's purpose in life.   Of all the applications in the Creative Suite, InDesign is the one I have the least experience with. After acquiring the Adobe Photoshop CS one-on-one book (and loving it) I thought I would get a hold of this book to see if it could help me become, at least, comfortable with InDesign - and possibly help with putting it to good use rather than be the application I ignore from the Creative Suite.For all the reasons people like the Photoshop book in this series, people are going to like this one as well. It is visually elegant, bright, and colorful. The same "Pearls of Wisdom" break up the text to provide you with various insights and "Oh, by the way"s.   My children really enjoyed this series of CDs. They could do the overview (in a game format) and then test themselves and see the score and try to beat it.   Although the info says it will work with these systems, it did not for me, something about not being compatible with 64 bit and I'm not sure if there's a way to fix that. However, we fortunately have an older computer that it did work well on and I'm very happy with the program. I really think it will meet my needs.   This is a fun game for the computer for younger children, about ages 7-10. Cinderella helps you to navigate to the different sections. Aurora helps you to pick a horse, dress it up, and compete in a Royal Show Ring. You can jump over rails, hedges and water, and a little bird chirps to remind you when to jump.
